Everyone Is Doing The Same Thing.

Just trying to figure this thing out.

This looks like the single woman in her 40’s tossing ideas around whether she wants to put her heart back on the line and love another again, or travel the world in quest for meaning she thinks she may have missed all those years ago. It looks like the twenty-something year old young man who has finished his degree and now facing the dilemma of what he actually wants to do. It looks like the seventy-year old widow who realizes she built her world around her marriage and now left with the pieces of herself she never really came to know. It looks like the traditional family dynamic with marriage and children who are going through the routines of the day and yet, not fully present in any of it leaving with it a feeling of void. Or the one climbing the corporate ladder only to realize a deeper more meaningful passion for entrepreneurship ignited within.

We are all different. Yet, so much is the same. Life offers your own unique blueprint. Within this are all the opportunities, detours and full on stops for you to navigate your way through in a quest for some “thing”. But what is that thing? What is it that drives you to long for, to search, to continue while white- knuckling your way through, and to what end?

Your blueprint, in other words, the story of your life, is a roadmap detailing possibility. It is possibility because within this roadmap, you hold the power over where you take yourself to. Every turn is decided by you, giving you the freewill to go the direction you choose. With this being said, you are given certain things or gifts to assist you along this journey. This comes in the form of emotions, intuition, extenuating circumstances, people, opportunities and of course, your own mental faculty that gives you capacity to make decisions.

If you think about it, every detail that happens in your life, has potential to shape the next

outcome. This gives limitless possibilities to all you can experience during this lifetime. When I say, everyone is here doing the same thing by trying to figure this thing out, this is what I mean.

Everyone moves different. Everyone has different personal experiences. Everyone has different sets of family dynamics, work in different jobs, careers, places. Some of you are married, some divorced, some staying completely single. These things on the outside may be different, yet, the thing that is happening within is the same. The one commonality behind your decisions and the things that create your drive is motivated either by wanting to distance from feeling pain, or closer to pleasure. This is it. This is the mechanism that motivates choices and behaviour.

There’s another layer to this. The question then becomes, what determines what that pain or pleasure is? How is this defined for you and how do you decide the things that become your motivating factors? How do you define what is even true for you?

This is where we go to the quantum side. The side where body, mind and soul interconnect. Let’s play around with perspective and see how it lands for you. The interconnection between body, mind and soul. We have a body, but who is the one that has it? When we say, I have a body, who is the I. Much of this is found in Echhart Tolle’s Power of Now, where he goes into much more depth around this idea. This plays a part because if you can accept the idea that you are not your body, then that would also mean there is something far greater beyond your physicality that is the“I”. You could then also accept the idea that within your body, is an invisible intelligence. This can also be

called consciousness that is perhaps the driving force behind where your desires actually come from.

If the “I” is the part of you connected to, or is that consciousness, behind the thought, then that would also mean that there is this unseen intelligence behind the things you do and feel. This brings us to the next layer, which is the mind. The mind is a system that collects information and uses it to understand the world and your interpretation of it. You can say that the mind is the connection point between the soul and the body. It’s the in-between layer where information is downloaded to be used or embodied. Moving that information into the body by way of thoughts and emotions.

The body encompasses your physicality, including your brain that interprets information and uses logic and analysis to determine action. Emotions are also within the body as feedback to the state, or the thoughts you are resonating with. Emotions provide guidance as to where your thoughts are being directed, offering you this information for you to then use that feedback to make decisions. Once decisions are made, action is then taken through physical behaviours.

Piecing all of this together, you have your blueprint, the roadmap of your life that includes certain goalposts, achievements or experiences you came here to have.

This comes from your soul. You can call this part of your soul’s purpose, which is always for expansion in some capacity. The soul, which is connected to your mindbody, is behind the scenes that provides you with the quiet nudges, the longing for something different, as well as inspired ideas. Once your mind is open to receive these downloads, they come through for you to intellectualize the nudges, to then move into the physical body by way of making decisions and taking action.

During times that you feel “stuck”, or in a place where you know there’s something more for you, this is you downloading information from your soul, giving you that nudge that there is something you are to do that you came here to do as part of your blueprint. The discomfort you feel in the “stagnancy” relates to a deeper knowing within you as to what it is you are here to experience as part of that blueprint.

You then have decisions to make depending on how you feel about the ideas that come to you. Even the restlessness you may feel at times, or uncertainty with where you are at, play a part in helping you decode your own inner-intelligence guiding you towards your soul’s expansion. You feel contrast for a reason, as it's the discomfort that causes you to evaluate and gain clarity about the things you truly want.

We are all the same. Living this life, going through the experiences, the ups and downs and everything in between, just trying to figure it all out. Each step you take brings you closer to revealing your own deeper truths within. As you feel more comfortable following your intuition, you may find more ease and flow during times that in the past, may have caused you distress. There’s a dance to it all, in the ways your multidimensional parts move through this life. Finding this balance may be the key to bring your closer to living with more intention and clarity within your own unique purpose set up for you to achieve in this lifetime.
